Kisling, Nestico & Redick earned their reputation as a law firm by fighting hard for their clients, clients who’ve been injured and in need of help. Not just to get them restitution but to allow for peace of mind during their recovery. Helping victims when they’re at their most vulnerable is only one way this firm strives to help Ohioans.
KNR Cares About Kids is one of their charitable initiatives. It’s partly an information campaign, promoting safety to children and young people, like the dangers of texting and driving and basic bicycle safety. But they’re perhaps best known for their commitment to children from disadvantaged areas of the state, many suffering from hunger, lack of clothes, and a shortage of everyday supplies. They’ve addressed these needs by making food available at schools, giving young people the chance to select clothes and school supplies they would otherwise not have, and raising funds for local food pantries.
By helping the young people of Ohio, Kisling, Nestico & Redick hopes to make generational changes to shift the impact of poverty and need in this state. And sometimes that requires being engaged in wider charity projects that spread out their resources. More than 40 people from the firm took part in the Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump last year, raising $30,000 for local charities, bringing their collection over the last six years to more than $138,000. The funds went to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.

This firm has also effected changes to established policies that have brought about stricter safety training for truck drivers.
Kisling Nestico & Redick is recognized as a leading law firm in Ohio’s insurance industry since each attorney brings extensive expertise to every case. The legal community also recognizes KNR for the firm’s advocacy for the clients. Kisling Nestico & Redick is a firm built upon personal experience and insurance expertise
The advocacy of Kisling Nestico & Redick was energized by the personal experience of one partner, Rob Nestico. When he was 15 years old, Nestico suffered severe injuries in a motor vehicle accident and had to spend months in a hospital. During this time, his immigrant non-English speaking parents were taken advantage of by the insurance company that dealt with the settlement of his claim. Realizing that others can be taken advantage of by insurance companies, Nestico and his partners at Kisling Nestico & Redick are dedicated to attaining justice for their clients.
From his accident, Nestico learned that corporations would exploit people unable to fight back. So, he has devoted his career to battling companies on behalf of families. Nestico notes that “KNR’s secret weapon” is the fact that attorneys at his firm have previously worked at insurance companies. Aware of these companies’ tactics, they can better assist clients across Ohio faced with implacable insurance agents intending to prevent vulnerable people from attaining just compensations.K
Kisling, Nestico & Redick makes efforts to do more than help people who have suffered in life-altering vehicular accidents. The firm supports preventative measures with a $5,000 scholarship to a deserving Ohio student who writes the best proposal for preventing texting while driving.

One of KNR’s charitable efforts is their annual Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship. The purpose of this annual event is to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. Participants must create a plan to convince young adults to end distracted driving. The winner is awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
In another act of charity KNR treated 12 local children to a shopping spree. The children were given the chance to buy as much summer clothing as they needed. This event was important to KNR because they were able to provide for the kids as well as help them to feel good about themselves. Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Ohio attended this event as well.
Another one of KNR’s charitable endeavors is their participation in the annual Polar Bear Jump. Participants of this event take a dive into the freezing cold lake water. The purpose of this charitable event is to raise money for the local food bank to help in the fight against hunger. KNR’s goal was to raise $25,000 through this event, they ended up exceeding their goal and raised $30,000. Kisling Nestico & Redick are involved in charitable events year round. Their plans are to continue serving and uplifting the community as much as they possibly can.
